Nevada County Toy Run

Volunteer With NCTR

It takes a community to make this happen.

There’s a Place for You

Hundreds of families move through our events, thousands of gifts and supplies need organizing, and a lot happens before anyone walks through the door. Give a few hours or a whole weekend.

2026 Toy Run shift selection opens Monday, October 12, 2026. You can create your volunteer profile now; creating a profile does not reserve a shift.

Volunteer Beyond the Toy Run

A Ride For Hope

Summer 2027 — Date Coming Soon. Positions will be posted after event details are finalized; opportunities may include setup, rider support, check-in, merchandise, vendor support, and cleanup.

Community Events

Help with NCTR booths, outreach, merchandise, setup, cleanup, donation collection, and community-resource events.

How Volunteer Sign-Ups Work

Create your volunteer profile and choose your areas of interest in the NCTR volunteer system. A profile does not sign you up for a shift. When shift selection is open, choose a specific date and time under Available Shifts. Check My Shifts for your confirmed assignments.

Every Role Matters

Some roles put you directly with families. Others happen behind the scenes. Give a few hours. Bring a friend. Be part of what makes NCTR possible.
