Nevada County Toy Run Events
From the Nevada County Toy Run to A Ride For Hope, our events bring motorcycle riders, volunteers, businesses, families, and the community together to support children throughout Nevada County.

Our signature holiday ride
Second Saturday of December · Rain or Shine
What started in 1991 with four riders has grown into one of Nevada County’s most recognizable holiday traditions.
Each year, hundreds — and sometimes thousands — of motorcycles gather at the Eric Rood Administrative Center before KSU (Kickstands Up) at noon. The procession travels through Nevada City and Grass Valley on its way to the Nevada County Fairgrounds, where the community comes together to provide Christmas gifts, groceries, and holiday support for local families.
For riders, it is a tradition.
For families, it can mean an entirely different Christmas.
2026 Toy Run:
A Ride For Hope brings riders and the community together to help local children start the school year with the things they need.
The motorcycle ride leads into a community gathering, with proceeds and donations supporting back-to-school efforts in partnership with Hope for Nevada County.
In 2026, Nevada County Toy Run contributed more than 600 pairs of shoes, more than 100 backpacks, and school supplies to the effort.

Motorcycle ride and community gathering supporting back-to-school outreach.
The gathering, the friendships, KSU, and the procession through the community are part of what makes these events matter. Motorcycles bring us together. Supporting local children and families is why we ride.
