Where do riders meet?

At the Eric Rood Administrative Center in Nevada City.

What time is KSU?

12:00 PM sharp.

Do riders need to register?

No. Show up and participate.

Does it happen if it rains?

Yes. The Toy Run is rain or shine.

What should I bring?

New, unwrapped gifts for children and teens.

Where and when can I pick up my merchandise preorder?

Pick up all merchandise preorders at the Nevada County Fairgrounds only, during these hours:

  • Friday, December 11, 2026: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 12, 2026: 9:00 AM–noon

No preorder pickup at the Rood Center or after the ride.

Donations

What kinds of gifts do you accept?

New, unwrapped toys, stuffed animals, stocking stuffers, books, games, clothing, jackets, gift cards, teen gifts, and other age-appropriate items.

Do you accept donations year-round?

Yes, at Gypsy Rose, Main Street Kids, and McClaughry Farms. See addresses and directions.

Can I donate money online?

Donate Now through Zeffy.

Family Assistance

Do families need to register?

Yes. Register in advance through the family-assistance system.

What do families receive?

Multiple gifts for children and holiday groceries. Each family receiving grocery assistance can choose a turkey, ham, or chicken, along with a sack of potatoes and the traditional holiday fixings.

When is distribution?

December 12, 2026, 1:30 PM–6:00 PM at the Fairgrounds. Attend your assigned check-in window.

Volunteering

Do I have to ride to volunteer?

No. Most volunteer positions do not involve motorcycles.

Can I choose my position?

Available positions and shifts are listed in the NCTR volunteer system.

A Ride For Hope

When is the next ride?

Summer 2027 — Date Coming Soon.

What does it support?

Back-to-school assistance through NCTR’s partnership with Hope for Nevada County.

No. Sponsorship is annual organizational support; vendor participation is tied to specific events.
